Best Buy's PS5 Pro deal is hands-down the best discount we have ever seen on Sony's mid-generation upgrade. This price is a straight $50 cut from the MSRP, which is unheard of for new Sony hardware. Amazon and Walmart are still listing the console at the full $699 price tag. If you are looking to upgrade your setup for GTA VI next year, this is the best price you are likely going to see in 2025.

With this discount right now, you are not going to find it any cheaper anywhere else.
What Is Sony Planning?
It is worth noting that Sony announced its official "PlayStation Wrights" sale last week. The tech giant is planning to offer discounts on digital software and select older hardware bundles directly through the PS Direct store. However, they almost never discount their flagship "Pro" console this early in its lifecycle. This Best Buy event is an anomaly, making it surprisingly valuable.
