Tom Holland has officially suited up as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man once again. "Brand New Day" represents Holland's first solo outing since the 2021 global blockbuster "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide. The narrative directly follows the tragic and isolated ending of that film, where Peter agreed to have his true identity erased from the world's memory to save the multiverse.

Now alone and grieving the death of his Aunt May, Peter must navigate a gritty New York City where his girlfriend MJ and best friend Ned have no recollection of who he is.

"Stripped of Stark tech and Avengers-level support, Peter takes to the gritty streets to forge his own path. The introduction of biological organic webs marks a striking, unexpected evolution of his powers as he returns to his roots."

Familiar Faces and Gritty New Alliances

Despite his profound isolation, the trailer reveals that Peter Parker will not be fighting alone. The footage confirms a staggering ensemble of returning Marvel veterans and fresh faces making their way into Spider-Man's orbit:

  • The Hulk Returns: Mark Ruffalo reprises his role as Bruce Banner, bringing a familiar Avenger back into the fold.
  • The Punisher's Brutality: Jon Bernthal brings his visceral, unrelenting edge back to the MCU, teaming up with Spider-Man to take down the city's criminal underworld.
  • Villains Resurface: On the villainous side, Michael Mando's Scorpion is finally back from "Spider-Man: Homecoming," joined by Marvin Jones II, who takes on the role of the formidable gangster Tombstone.

The fourth standalone Spidey movie in the MCU will release in theaters on July 31. Want to see the organic webs and the Punisher team-up for yourself? Check out the full official trailer below.
